Lazing at home Nespresso's Rosabaya de Colombia & an Almond Biscotti

I was recently introduced to Almond Biscotti from a local bakery, Biscotti Bakery. I must admit, I was skeptical about the biscotti when I saw that it was packed in a plastic container that had become synonymous with Chinese New Year or Hari Raya Goodies. However, I had to try it  as I was told that it was made with all-natural ingredients and is trans-fat-free I was glad I did because I got so hooked, I actually ate almost 1/4 bottle (a large one at that) in a sitting!

Freshly baked Almond Biscotti for you?

While shopping for a steamboat party, I popped by Biscotti Bakery's booth at a recent food show where they were baking and packing fresh biscotti for sale. They had some samples out for other flavours (eg. Cranberry Pistachio Biscotti and Orange Almond Biscotti) while my friend gave me some of her Chocolate Orange Almond Biscotti to try.

Amongst all the flavours that were available, I liked the Original Almond Biscotti best (large bottle @ $26, no idea how much the small one costs). Thin, crisp and generously dotted with fragrant slivers of almonds, the Almond Biscotti was a pleasure to savour on it's own and also with coffee. Significantly thinner than traditional Biscotti, this worked fine for me because it was less taxing on my teeth. This is a Must-Try! Incidentally, I've cracked a tooth on a Biscotti before, have you?
