Moving from Blogger to superfinefeline.com - Gastronomic Ruminations

When I first started blogging, it was meant to be a foodie diary to share my dining experiences with friends. They wanted a centralised location to retrieve information on food that I've told them about. I've been known to wax lyrical about food. Sometimes, I even have to follow up with emails repeating what I said and oftentimes, with contact details included.
As Murphy's Law would have it, my friends can never seem to locate the emails when they need them and have to call / SMS or email me for a repeat. Wanting to unshackle myself from constantly playing concierge or a walking phone book, my blog was born out of necessity. Over the years, it has evolved into a hobby that allows me to express myself freely about my passion for food and I made quite a few foodie friends through the blog.
I found myself with more time the past week or so to look at my blog, that I have sadly seemed to have neglected over the past year. I wanted to declutter the blog and refresh it. Somehow a simple decluttering project evolved into a full-on migration from Blogger to WordPress complete with my own domain name. I found myself taking a crash course in self-hosted websites, powered by Google searches.
To the readers and friends who have supported my blog and sent me emails to ask me how I am when I seemed to have disappeared, I am eternally grateful. I hope you will still continue to read my blog at the new location and if I have yet to reply to your emails, I hope you can forward them to me again as I am still working on de-spamming my mailbox.
This blog is still a work in progress as a shift in blogging platforms requires that I also embark on a crash course on the new editing software. Please bear with me whilst I sort the new blog out and do send me an email if you detect any broken links. Thank you. :)
