Coffee Appreciation Classes @ Asian Food Channel's Studio in Orchard Central
I'm a caffeine fiend and function best after I've had at least a cup of strong coffee or tea for the day. Though I love both coffee and tea, it's a warm cup of strong aromatic coffee that usually has me grinning from ear to ear like the Cheshire Cat from Lewis Caroll's Alice in Wonderland.
When I heard that Barista Danny Pang (previously from Geek Terminal) was going to conduct some coffee appreciation classes at the AFC Studio, I jumped at the opportunity.
I used to love the Illy Coffee served at Geek Terminal because it was full-bodied and had a rounded flavour that was neither excessively bitter nor acidic. I also loved how it is served with a thick layer of milk foam on top and adorned with interesting foam art. Unfortunately, Geek Terminal closed and the only other way to enjoy Barista Danny's coffee is to head down to Espressoul at North Bridge Road.
If you are suffering from Geek Terminal Coffee withdrawal symptoms (craving the buzz after their coffee) and want to learn more about coffee, head on down to AFC Studio to learn from the man himself:
