Singapore Food Festival 2011 - "Curry and Spices"
SFF 2011 also aims to engage intrepid food lovers on a multi-sensorial level through a variety of smaller scale eventswhich includes an opportunity to be a part of an attempt to set a new Guiness World Record. The highlights are as follows:SFF Culinary Adventures - Tiffin Cruise (15 - 24 Jul 2011)
Time:4pm - 10pm (45 minutes per cruise)
Passengers on the bumboat cruises will be served freshly made Naan (Indian flat bread which is very similar to Pita) along with their choice of meal served in a tiffin carrier. Tiffin carriers are multi-tier lunch boxes which were first used in India. They were also used in Singapore and Malaysia in the 50s and 60s.
