Food Republic @ Wisma Atria
After reading all the discussion on Makansutra Forums about the best Char Kway Teow in town. I was craving Char Kway Teow, amongst other things.
My friends and I decided to have a quick dinner at Food Republic in Wisma Atria before hitting the shops. It's one of my favourite food courts as the decor is rustic which gives it a cosier feel than the regular "sterile-looking" food courts.
We had Fried Hokkien Mee & (you guessed it) Char Kway Teow!
I like both the Hokkien Mee & the Char Kway Teow at this food court as they're both pretty good. Most people queue for the Hokkien Mee but I would say that the Char Kway Teow is a "dark course"...oops, I meant "dark horse".
Food courts (like hawker centres) are great because we can order lots of food without breaking the bank. The Ngoh Hiang at this food court is really delicious! My friends liked the chili dip as well but I like my Ngoh Hiang on its own.
The dumpling noodles were pretty good. I liked the chili & the noodles were not soggy. I wish the dumplings were not as soggy though.
