Sunrise Breakfast at Sky on 57
Watching the Sun Rise from Sands SkyPark
During my staycation at Marina Bay Sands last month, I took the opportunity to admire the sunrise and have breakfast at Sky on 57.
Morning Sun Streaming into Sky on 57
The golden rays of the sun were streaming into the restaurant when we sauntered over for breakfast.

Breakfast Pastries
Breakfast at Sky on 57 is a semi-buffet affair. Priced at S$41++ per person, it offers diners 2 mains each from the a la carte menu in addition to the buffet spread. Here's a photo of the array of Danish Pastries, Croissants and Muffins on the buffet line.
Cured Meat, Smoked Salmon, Cheese & Salad
You can toss your own salad, grab some cured meats or cheese and crackers to start your day.
Granola, Muesli, Nuts & Dried Fruits
Pimp your muesli and granola with some dried fruits and nuts, if you're into healthier fare.
Even though I was still a little too sleepy to feel terribly hungry, I couldn't resist bacon and hash browns.
Asian Station: Fried Beehoon & Congee
There's an Asian selection if you prefer a comforting bowl of congee with condiments. After having a disappointing bowl of Room Service congee the night before, I skipped it and had Fried Beehoon instead.
Here's my East meets West Breakfast Platter comprising Fried Beehoon with Bacon and Hash Browns.

"Croque Monsieur" on Croissants
The Croque Monsieur that has been given a lovely buttery twist as it was made with Croissants instead of bread. Topped with a perfect balance of savoury ham and cheese, the croissant retained its fluffiness without getting weighed down by grease. This is a Must-Try!
Slow-Cooked Farm Eggs with Fricassée of Mushroom & Black Forest Ham
I was torn between Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon and Slow-Cooked Farm Eggs with Fricassee of Mushroom and Black Forest Ham. I settled for the latter as I figured it would be a healthier option. The creamy yolk and tender egg whites helped to enrich the sauce that accompanied the mushrooms. Topped with a roll of toothsome Black Forest Ham that added more flavour to the dish, this is worth a try.
French Toast, Wild Berry Compote & Vanilla Whipped Cream
I loved the browned edges and crisp crust of the French Toast. Made with a thick slice of buttery brioche and sufficient egg to provide a slightly custard-like interior, this was fluffy without a hint of grease. A Must-Try!

We had some time to kill before checking out. It was a beautifully sunny day, so we spent the rest of the morning chilling at the SkyPark Infinity Pool with some Coconut Water for hydration.
