Blueberry Smoothie Recipe
After the bout of gastric flu, I decided it was time to eat healthy. That was till I laid my eyes on
Hokkien Rice Dumplings with Salted Eggs...oops! All my plans to eat healthy went out the window. So what's new, eh? Thus the very first day of my recovery from gastric flu saw me wolfing down the salted egg dumpling followed by
Fried Carrot Cake (both black & white versions) for lunch. What can I say? I was deprived for all of 3 days!!! Surely you can understand that?
Finally in a bid to eat healthier at suppertime, I made a
Blueberry Smoothie. Yeah, I can almost hear my dear old friend, LW, keel over in shock & say "Supper? Shouldn't you be abstaining from food?" Hee hee! I ain't called a foodie for nothing you know!
Blueberry Smoothie
1 punnet of blueberries (I always wished the smoothie shops would add more & figured with the whole punnet, I can omit Honey)
3 tbsp Greek Natural Set Yoghurt
2 tbsp Honey-Roasted Wheatgerm (just in case the blueberries are too tart, ok, I love honey-roasted wheatgerm)
1/2 cup whole cream milk (it was the only type available in my fridge!)
Method:
1. Put everything in a blender & blend, baby! :)
2. Share a little with the precious poochie so he gets some anti-oxidants too & drink while chilled.
